Is my four month old baby teething?

For some reason this didn't post, so i'm posting it again!

My baby is four months old, and is a drool monster! She is capable of soaking a bib every hour! I was curious if she was teething, so I put my finger in her mouth to feel her gums, and she bit me! Well, with her gums, but it was a pretty firm bite! Between bites I wasn't able to feel any beginnings of teeth. She sucks her hand all the time. Do most four month olds drool like crazy and bite, or is this a sign of teething? I am breastfeeding, and she doesn't seem to bite my nipple very often. She may be a little more irritable than she has been, but every couple of weeks she changes and it would be hard for me to say what is "normal" for her! I would love to hear about your experiences with teething - signs of it starting, how long it took for the tooth to show itself, things you did to make your baby comfortable, how old your baby was, etc! Thanks!

I noticed my daughter starting the 'drool monster' episode around 2 and a half months.

Yes, drooling is a big sign that they are beginning to teeth.

After a few weeks, she started to 'bite' things. Toys, her fingers, whatever she got her hands on.

At 4 months she started not sleeping well at night.
She got a fwe low grade fevers and one high one.
Then at 5 months 3 weeks she got her first tooth
and a week later, her 2nd
(both on bottom, front) and there was a little 'split' in her gums you could see just a few days before the white came into sight.

Around 6 1/2 months she slept through the night again. Thankfully lol

I gave her things to suck on like cool cloths soaked in water, or teething rings (no need to make them cold, although it helps a little) the best ones are the small, light ones they can easily hold onto. (we got our at walmart - it was the winney the pooh one, green handle)
Baby tylenol helps a LOT and oragel. Both calmed her down.

She's now almost 8 months and hasnt gotten anymore teeth.

What activities can I do with my 17 month old baby girl?

We play the usual games peek-a-boo, pat-a-cake, and a few other baby games that I know or from Sesame Street Beginnings. What kind of games and activities can we do, both indoors and out. She is VERY active and seems to like to help cleaning. She is very silly. She isn't talking much yet, but again highly active.

Any suggestions!!??
You can PAINT with a 17 month old? I hate giving her CRAYONS because EVERYTHING goes in her mouth.

Nature walks are great. Let her take her time and pick stuff up. Then you can name it for her. Flip rocks over and look at the bugs. Take out the pots and pans and let her bang on the with a wooden spoon. Give her different textures to play with: find something gooey, fuzzy, hard, soft, etc. and name them all for her. Take her to the library, most have a summer story time for families to sit in on. Finger paint-it's really fun to strip them down to their undies (or diaper) and let them use their whole body, see what imprint their kness, elbows, feet, etc. make. Sing and act out songs. Just have fun!!!
