I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-H9, great camera. Need Advice ASAP!?

Need settings for low light situations. I am about to have a grandbaby and the lighting is low in birth rooms. If someone could give me an idea on what settings to use so that I am not fumbling around and looking in a book etc. it would be greatly appreciated! Usually in the house the pics are poor when there is not enough natural light such as night. Over head lighting does not help and the pics have a orange red tint to them. thanks for any help I can get!
Ok, I didn't want to look in the manuel, but I guess I will have to. Will changing the ISO make a difference?

Can't use the flash? Using ISO 400 and higher will get you some noise in the photos. If you don't mind them, use a higher ISO setting. You can also fix them up with Neat Image or Noise Ninja software.
