How to get set in stains out of clothes?
I have 2 pairs of pants, one pair has motor oil on them and the other one has blood on them. They have both been washed and dried, is there anything to get it out or should I just give up and throw them away? Please help. Thank you
Peroxide is the best stain remover for blood stains. I've heard that 409 works miracles on blood stains,or soaking overnight in milk or scrubbing with fels naptha bar as well. Lestoil is about the only thing I know of that can remove a set in oil stain.If you have any degreaser like mechanics use to wash their hands with you might give that a try. I've heard some people say it works and I've heard some say Wisk works. I just haven't tried those methods myself but if you have them on hand it can't hurt to try as the items are ruined anyway if you can't get the stains out. As far as giving them up and throwing them away... I've had stains that just would not come out and I would put stain remover on them after they went through the wash and just set them aside until I washed another load and did this over and over and over and eventually they would come out. Just be sure not to put them in the dryer until the stains are gone. Good luck.

Black Short pants, black T shirt, and white shoes with orange straps. Do you see a problem with having black shirt and black pants with white shoes?

I love having a neutral color tone in the clothing, with an unsuspected color in the feet area. Go for it! It's totally sophisticated, chic, and sexy! The orange will pull the entire outfit together, and the white will just POP(!!) against the black pants and T-Shirt. What a wonderful outfit. Go for it!!
