Is it wrong of me to let my 3 week old lay in his crib?
I feel guilty but I don't want him to be one of those babies that has to be carried around all the time or else they cry until they get picked up. He did that on Sunday and last night and the only way to calm him was to pick him up, he would fall asleep and as soon as he felt us put him down he would wake up crying? How can I balance this well? I have him in his crib right now with baby music on and he is wide awake. Help please.
if you let him lay in there crying , yes I think it's wrong... he's too young to manipulate you... and it's not developmentally appropriate for him to be ignored when he's trying to communicate....... 3 weeks is a big growth spurt time, he may be wanting to eat more or just needing a cuddle... a cuddle for a newborn is as intense of a need as food.

kids that have to be carried around should. it's what they need. now when he's a toddler, he needs to learn how to start doing somethings on his own, but even then you don't teach and encourage a child to be independant, by ignoring them.
at any age, being ignored shows that you're not there, shows you don't care (even if you really do, it's what the one being ignored feels)... and for babies it is the first step in building healthy self esteem- to know that you're worth it.

What is the best solution for battery operated Baby Items ?
{Its almost like What doesnt take batteries, Everything does ! }
So what is the best solution ? I need Batteries for the Pack N Play, Bassinet, Monitor, Swing, Crib Light, Crib Mobile, Crib Music thing & I know iM forgetting some items..
Should i buy a Huge pack of disposable ones if so What brand ? Or should I buy rechargeable ones & a Recharger ??
This will only ratchet up as you enter the world of children's toys. I recommend bulk packs of middling-to-decent brands of batteries from a store like Costco, stored in an easily accessible drawer in the same place as a couple of the small screwdrivers you need to open the battery compartments...
Rechargeables have never lasted long enough for me to make the hassle worth it.
