Any moms that use gdiapers? Have you tried the cloth inserts by cottonwood baby?
I just started using gdiapers yesterday, and love them! I have been using Gerber cloth prefolded diapers while I'm home. It works okay, but the diaper doesn't fit as snugly. I'm excited by the cottonwood baby inserts, but they're really expensive...
I haven't tried those. I use a microfiber towel that measures about 16x16 then I fold that up. They really soak up liquids well. You can get them for around $1, try finding them at the dollar stores sometime.
what are the best prefolds/inserts for cloth diapers?
I am looking for the best deals (who isn't!) and i am trying a few different styles of cloth diapering before i pick one and dump some real money into it. I have 2 thirsties duo wraps 6 unbleached CPF's 6 hemp babies inserts/doublers, 1 flip cover and 3 flip stay dry inserts. I just got everything yesterday and have not gotten to try anything yet but i am wanting your experience and what do you use during the night? where do you buy your cloth diapering supplies?
I use Bummis prefolds and covers. You can buy packs of 6 prefolds, and individual covers, but I just went with the kit (one for newborn, then bigger size for baby). They are great, and very good price, too. I buy mine at a specialty baby shop, but check the Bummis website for their store locator.
At night, I use the prefold as normal, with a micro-fleece liner on top. Have never had any problems 
Also, I did see some Bummis in a used store, but there is no way I'd be doing that!
