Small dry quarter-size patches of skin?
About a year ago, small dry patches of skin started to appear.
They're about the size of a quarter, and don't appear to be red and aren't itchy.... they're just there. I have about 4 now, one on my leg, another on neck, and two on torso (that's the ones I've found anyway). Any idea on what it might be?
I too have these, but they're dime-sized. It may be eczema due to dry skin. Mine get worse in the winter, when I'm around a lot of central heating.
Before you go to a dermatologist, find a lotion that doesn't contain dyes, perfumes, or alcohol (another poster suggested CetapHil) and try it on your spots. Neutrogena also makes good dye, perfume, and alcohol-free lotions.
Pea size dry, scaby spots on my body?
I keep getting these pea size dry scaby looking spots that come and go. There skin colored. And Ive been getting on my hands and fingers scabs that look like i got scrapped, but I know I didnt. There small scabs that also come and go. Any one have anything like this?
go to a doctor. its most likely a minor skin irritation -- but best to find out for sure. the doc can most likely prescribe a lotion or some other treatment for this.
