whats the best way to tie fringe on a no-sew fleece throw?
I am making fleece throws for my kids and i am trying to tie the fringe but it never looks right. Does anyone know the best way to do it?
double knot it backwards, I have made about 150 of those and it works everytime, just dont forget the backwards part!!
How do i make a pillow??
I have 8 squares of fabric, so i arranged them in two sets of four and i want to make a pillow with them.
How do i sew the 4 peices together??
Then how do i sew the 2 sides together to make a pillow???
I want the pillow to look neat and pretty, its for my 2 year old cousin, i want it to be made well so i will last him a long time, i made him a matching fleece blanket, one of those knot fringe blankets, so there was 8 squares cut out of each side, thoseare the things i want to make the pillow out of
All you have to do is overlap the pieces and sew a straight stitch to put them together (about half an inch in). Remember that the stitches are going to be on the inside, so when you do this, put the good sides of the cloth together, with the bad sides facing out. Run a quick stitch up the side to join them.
Once You Are done stitching the two sides separately, stitch them together on three sides, and on the final side, stitch all the way but leave about a two inch gap.
Then invert the pillow through this gap (pull it right-side out). Stuff it with stuffing and then stitch up the hole by hand. Presto!
