using a prenatal heart listener and cant hear my baby ?
well my bf mother bought me a prenatal heart beat listner and i have been using it for a while and i cant hear the baby . im disapointed and why i cant hear her ? is something wrong ?

If it is the BeBe Sounds, there is nothing wrong with you and/or your baby. The problem is the product.
When I had my first, I bought one of these things and took it in to my doctor, because I could not find the heartbeat. She hates the things, and says it causes so much undue worry in patients. She even wrote me a note so I could return it (as it had been opened and used).
She explained it like this-the dopplers the doctor's use cost HUNDREDS of dollars-sometimes even thousands. How can that be reproduced into something that costs $25 or so?
If you read the directions very carefully, it will tell you that it does not work very well until late pregnancy. And, if you think about it your doctor probably has to move around a bit to get a good listen with his or her doppler...these things are less reliable than what the doctor's use.
I still have one somewhere. I used it with my last pregnancy, and I could hear movement but never the heartbeat-even the day before I delivered.
I would suggest returning it. You can rent an actual doppler from some websites, or buy one from eBay. They work MUCH better!
