How long to ankle sprains take to heal? See details?
I sprained my ankle a month ago, almost exactly.
It sprained it doing martial arts fighting and I think I tripped on my boot pads and all my weight went on the instep (that lump part) of my left foot.
It took me about 7 days to walk properly and Ive only just got my weight on my whole foot, without using my toes to direct the weight onto another part.
However, it still hurts when I fight, like bouncing and I can't run properly. Sometimes the outside of my foot (more on top and outer foot) hurts, but mainly the instep.
When I did it, I went to the doctors and he said it was a sprain.
Have I only sprained it, or have I done something else?
Answers appreciated, just say if I've left some detail out 
It didn't swell or anything, just the instep seemed to be really bruised and painful to the touch when I first did it
Sometimes a lineament rub can help but mostly a total rest of that foot is the best way
Women's running shoe with support for very high arches and underpronation?
I am a former ballet dancer who still goes to class a few times a week, but get most of my exercise now from running. That said, I have never found a running shoe that really supports my arches. To get an idea of what I'm working with, I can do this: http://media.photobucket.com/image/ballet%20foot%20high%20arch/wanderingapricot/Dance/high_insteps.jpg with my foot (that's not me, btw:). I wear a 7.5 (Eur. 38), D width in normal shoes. Any ideas?
try going to a running shoe store and asking the people there about it. tell them your size and high arches. they can be very helpfull and it is their job to assist you in finding the right shoe. if it is too expensive there the write down the name and size of the shoe and buy it online. at ebay or eastbay.com/ good luck with running
