trouble with enfamal ar lipil formula powder getting too many clumps?
My daughter was breastfed for the first three months or so and started spitting up alot. Her dr recommended enfamal ar lipil because it's made for babies who spit up frequently. When I tried to make bottles I put 8 oz of water and 4 scoops of powder just like the can said, then screwed on the nipple and shook it up. It was so lumpy there was no way anything could flow through the nipple. I tried putting it in the blender and that helped some but I got tired of that and started buying the same formula in the liquid version that you just pour from the can straight into the bottle, no mixing or extra water required. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else.
enfamil gentlease did that to me, now mines on just regular enfamil lipil, shes also 3 months, i usually premix mine though, it happens alot, make your water nice and warm and it should help it disolve better, make it in one bottle and then let it cool a few minutes then feed her, i get cheap bottles and then her nice bottles, if You Are using drop ins thats what did it to me pretty bad too, but youll get that every now and then
using both powder and ready to use?
my 7 month old has been using powder enfamil lipil, and can it make her sick if i use ready to use once in a while too?
I did that for my son. I would use powder most of the time, but I would keep ready to feed available in case I ran out of powder or just to keep it in the diaper bag.
