Do playtex drop in bottles work with the bottle warmers ?
I am looking to try the playtex drop in bottles i heard a lot of good about them the only thing is i just purchased a bottle warmer and it works great but I am not sure if the playtex drop ins will work with the warmers. Does anyone know if they work with the warmers. Thank You
I used the drop in liners with my bottle warmer. You just have to monitor the temperature closely until you get used to it because they can heat very quickly. As for the previous comment about using warm water to make the formula and giving the baby a cold bottle.. firstly on the cans of formula it will tell you to used cooled boiled water. This is because of bacteria growth. Warmed formula is a breeding ground for bacteria that can harm the baby. Also until they reach a certian age you should feed them formula that is a lukewarm temprature. This is because babies sensetive digestive systems can't handle exterme hot or cold. It hurts thier delicate tummies!
switching from Playtex Ventaire wide bottles to ventaire regular bottles?
do you think it will mess up her tummy if i switch from wide to regular? i dont want to try it. i switched from wide to a soothie bottle and an advent... and she was spitting up a lot... i don't know if i should or not.
why don't you just stick with what works for her then? I didn't have much luck with the ventaire at all ... but i'm sure if it's the same type just a more narrow nipple you shouldn't have problems.
The only bottles that dylan would drink from/ cause the least amount of spitup were the mam anti-colic bottles and dr. brown's. Now he uses evenflo comfit because theyre easier for mommy to wash and since my genius idea to switch to soy finally (lol) he doesn't spit up at all!
Good luck though and just use whatever she's liking.I know that it's exciting to try new bottles, but I'd just keep it the same if she's a pukey baby.
