How to decorate a baby shower. Theme for nursery is Noah's Ark.?
This is my 32 year old daughter's first and only child. And I want the theme to be Noah's Ark. Any ideal's for the center piece on the tables and around the room for the shower!!
Neat idea! You can have the serving plates for the foods be in animal shapes like elephants, tigers. You can find those plates almost anywhere. Go to the kids section in a store like Target or Wal Mart and see if you can find plates in those shapes. That way after the party, you can give them to her as a gift for the baby! You could also make a game out of the animal theme too. Do a word scramble that has different animal names. Have a small present for the one who gets the most right! As far as center pieces go, do doves. You know where the dove brought back the leaf to Noah, it will go with the theme and also go with the story of the Ark! Tons of cool points for your cool idea! I may have to steal it for mine!
What can I keep from my baby shower?
My friend is organizing a baby shower for me. Is there anything that I could make/keep as a keepsake that will remind me of that day in the future? I would like to have something besides photos and invitation that I could include in my pregnancy journal or use it as a nursery decoration. Maybe something that people can make for my baby... any ideas? I prefer something artsy and creative but do not like the idea of a belly cast 
I went to a baby shower where beforehand the host sent out a scrap book page asking us to give the new mom some words of wisdom and to decorate it any way we wished. We all brought the pages to the shower with us and she put them into a book for the mom to be.
