What color should I paint my bathroom and "powder room" ?
I know powder room is a very old term but that is what my papaw calls it so.... Anyways right now my bathroom and powder room are bright yellow the bathroom is done in a rubber ducky theme. The floor is white lanolium with like tan lines breaking it into a tile look. The powder room like i said is also bright yellow there is a walk in closet in there and a pine -medium brown- wood dresser. Also the ceilings are only about 6 feet 2 in. because this is in a basement of an old house if that matters...I have no idea what color to paint them. I would love to keep a relaxed maybe make you feel like You Are sitting by the ocean but also neutral color feel. I have a shower curtain that is light bluish turquise with tan and yellow all stripes. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
You need something bright, given the low ceiling. I like a very light or pale green color....Almost looks tropical. It would brighten it up for sure,.
Ocean's Magnetic Stripes.?
I just saw a picture of the Magnetic Stripes in the Atlantic Ocean. It seems to look like a long volcano. Just like a volcano, what would happen if it erupted?
Would several animals die?
Would there be a new continent?
Would the sea turn black from the ash?
Would the sea be claimed dangerous to where we could no longer filter water, fish, or take boats?
The magnetic stripes are portions of the sea Flair that have either a magnetic orientation that is like the present orientation (North pole is north) or the orientation is the reverse of the present orientation (North pole is south). The stripes are not a physical structure on the sea floor.
Exactly at the spreading boundary there is volcanic activity but the activity is almost always the oozing of what is known as "pillow lava." You can see this in the following video:
