Moms do you ever put your baby in a Snugli or other carrier while you do housework?
My baby wants to be held all the time so this is the best $20 I've spent honestly, but I know a lot of people don't even use theirs.
Honestly if it comes between doing the dishes and playing with my baby, I play. I have time to get chores done while my son naps or after my hubby gets home and starts playing with him. If you keep things tidy (by daily routine) around the house it does not take too long to get things straight. I only have a few years to enjoy with him before he is off to school so I want to get in as much mommy baby time as possible.
Plus - nobody on their death bed ever wished they had kept a cleaner house!
disneyland with a baby: what rides are safe?
my husband and i are doing a roadtrip to california this spring, and plan on stopping at disneyland. we have a 4.5 month old right now, who will be around 6-7 months when we plan on going. what rides can we go on, could i put him in my snugli/sling while i'm on a ride? i wouldnt take him on any rollercoasters thats for sure, but ive read about mothers taking their babies on rides...im just wondering what is safe? anyone been to disneyland with a baby?

I live in LA and my husband and I have a 2 yr old and a 6 month old we went there this last September for our 3rd aniversary.......it was the best time EVER no kids we could be kids again like those comercials...lol, mickey mouse ears and everything! if it's just your three then it wont be fun there would be rides that you both want to go on and it's not as fun to go on them by yourself, becasue one has to hold the baby There would be pirates of the caribean... a ferris wheel...and thats it...... I don't think it would be worth your money...I would say look for a babysitter... or bring one with you to hold the baby while you went on rides....but I would wait until hes a little older.
