Does eating lots of sugar effect baby while breastfeeding?
My baby is very alert and cranky in the evenings. She'll just about be sleeping then suddenly jerk open her eyes like she's restless. It sometimes goes on for hours and she barely gets any sleep. She's one month old. Could this be caused by me eating lots of sugar during the day?
No, it's not sugar. The whole sugar/hyperactivity thing is a myth. However if a lot of your sugar is coming from chocolate, then it might be caffeine that's causing her problems.
In either case though, most babies are more cranky in the evenings. And at one month old, it's totally normal for her not to have a good sleeping schedule going yet.
Be patient, she will begin to settle into a routine in a while.
how can we cur low blood sugar in a baby?
i read that babies that have low blood sugar have symptoms like shaking,sweating,waking up at night...
if my baby does have this what can i do?
