I'm going to have a Sweet 16 next year, I want to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital..?
I'm going to have a Sweet 16 next year in October. I know it's a little early, but I want to start planning already. I think it would be a great idea to have guests donate money at the door, [like when they come in] and donate it to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Can you please give me advice or tips on how to do this.

What a fabulous idea!
Have you ever thought of having an auction and giving the money to your charity? You could ask each guest to bring an item to auction, and then auction off the items. Or...you could do a "Truth or Dare" kind of auction, where there is a list of silly actions the birthday girl would have to do, and have people auction for you!
I don't know if St. Jude lets you sponsor a child, but you could also have each of your guests choose a child to sponsor and have them buy items needed for that child. They could be wrapped just like birthday presents, but the presents would go to that particular child instead of you.

Does anyone know where I can buy the whole set of Sweet Valley High Senior Year series by Francine Pascal?
My public library has some of the books but they don't have all of them. It wouldn't make sense to stop reading after the 7th book. And I don't want to stop anyway. Can you tell me where to find them for a cheap price?
