On my yahoo messenger I can see my picture but others say that it shows a black or grey smiley face.?
SO when i send someone a message on yahoo messenger i can see my picture in the little box but whoever im speaking with says it just shows a black or grey smiley face.. how do i fix this problem and why is it doing that?

Be sure that the file name for your display image only contains words.
Go ahead and try the suggestions in that help link but please be aware that for some people right now there is no solution. Nobody can see my custom Display Image either and I have not been successful in fixing the problem. However, everyone can see my Yahoo! Avatar just fine and I can see everybody else's Display Image no matter if they are using a custom one or an avatar.
I think it is a glitch on the Yahoo! servers or something similar. If you have tried everything in the help link I posted above please contact Yahoo! about your problem using the Technical Support Form. Be sure to state if people cannot see your custom Display Image or Yahoo! Avatar or if people can see one but not the other. Also be specific about the steps you took to try to solve the problem.
Here is how to get to that Technical Support form for Yahoo Messenger.
1. On this link click the version of Yahoo Messenger You Are using.

2. Then on the help pages that opens, click Contact Us at the top.
3. Sign in if you are not already signed in.
4. If you are a Yahoo Messenger Power User you will see Live Chat Help at the top. If you are not then just use the Yahoo Messenger Technical Support Form link on that page. In the drop down list for Topic there is a Display Image choice.
I would appreciate it if you would let me know if you do choose to use this form and hear anything helpful back from Yahoo. Thanks!
Where can i find a PLAIN black messenger bag??
