Stroller for twins advice?
Twins on the way and I need advice on the stroller/car seat combos. I was initially going for the graco snugride carseats and the duoglider stroller that goes with them, however after reading thousands of reviews I think it may not be the best option as we have a car not an SUV and it may not fit in the trunk(the stroller that is). What are some other options to look at with reasonable prices? By reasonable I mean preferably something along the same price line as Graco. Thanks in advance.
EDIT:
Safety 1st is normally pretty cheap, though I don't know if they do doubles. And overall, reviews from Safety 1st don't always come back that great. It must be struggle trying to get a dual with travel set! I am always researching travel sets because i find it fun...because I'm weird...Lol
I find it unfair that no ones does some type of combo pack. Evenflo is also a good affordable brand. Walmart has a travel for $150. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10745665 It's a beautfiul pattern and this stroller has great reviews.
You can also try Cosco and Eddie Bauer. Eddie tends to get less positive reviews, and in my opinion, Eddie's color choices are very plain, they're usually brown or pale grey.
I also found and ecofriendly Stroller a couple months back called Baby Planet, though they're not really cheap for stroller only I just thought I'd share so you could take a look if you'd like.
You also may want to go for strollers that just "look" lightweight. Alot of Graco Strollers are literally fullsize and can take up all the trunk space so a stroller like this from Cosco: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8342853 Could be a nice alternative. I hope you find what you're looking for.
I'm not sure if I wanted more double strollers or travel systems so I decided to add some more double strollers. This is a Graco and will probably be a little bulky: http://www.target.com/Graco-DuoGlider-Melbourne/dp/B001F6YNOC/sr=1-2/qid=1240429487/ref=sr_1_2/184-1007566-8529257?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=0&rh=k:double%20travel%20systems&page=1
I also found this for a ridiculous price, so you can look over this and see if this would be a good choice for you http://www.strollers.com/Dream-On-Me-447-N-DOM1020.html It's small and will probably fit decently in your car.
There's also this from the same brand in a better color: http://www.strollers.com/Dream-On-Me-447-K-Black-DOM1128.html
And then I thought I'd share this because I thought is was cute and looks comfy: http://www.strollers.com/Combi-776919-CBI1328.html
Once again good luck
Can someone help with twin stroller?
I need help! Our stroller was lost on our trip from Chennai. Since I'm pregnant (16 weeks) we're looking for a twin stroller. Our oldest will be 16 months when the baby arrives.
I'm stuck on what stroller is best. I've read all the reviews for Graco DuoGlider, Joovy Big Caboose, and Peg Perego.
Does anyone have real life experience they can help guide me in the right direction?
FYI: Our carseat is the Graco Snug Ride. We have an SUV so size isn't an issue. I want something durable and easy to steer (as possible).
I have a Graco DuoGlide and I love it. My middle child was just over 2 when my youngest was born, so I needed one of those. I found it at a great price, and it fits easily into the trunk of my car. It has held up very well, is easy to clean and has removable cup holders. It also has a convenient try for mom's keys or whatever. It also has a large basket underneath. I LOVE mine and wouldn't have another.
