2 white lines between the legs means girl in an ultrasound?
I'm 14 weeks pregnant, yesterday I saw there were 2 lines between the legs in the ultrasound, the doctor said he thought it was a girl... when I was pregnant with my son I saw his penis at 12 weeks between the legs... what do you think? 2 lines mean girl ? thanks
3 not 2 mean girl, but if doc didn't see a penis there's a good chance it's a girl. I'd definitely wait until a later u/s though.
Ultrasound says girl but I want a boy?
I am 20 wks. today and just had my ultrasound yesterday. The technician checked many times and even showed me the profile of of the baby as if you were looking down between its legs from above with the legs open (the baby's upside down) and even I could see that it was very flat between the legs. Could there still be a mistake or am I just having wishful thinking?
At 20 weeks, it is unlikely there is a mistake. As a mommy of a boy and a girl, I can tell you that the love you feel for your baby is the same regardless of the sex. Once you hold that baby, it won't matter whether the baby is a he or a she...it is your baby and you will love it more than you realize. Plus, there are so many things that could have been wrong with your baby and the fact that you left there today with a healthy report is so much to be thankful for. So many parents leave the 20 week ultrasound appt. knowing that there is a defect of some kind, and that news is truly heartbreaking! Just count your blessings for a healthy baby and start thinking of girl names! Good luck!
