how do you keep your baby warm?
its getting little chilly started putting my baby in long sleeve es onesie to sleep ( i am in california so its never that cold) my baby girl is heck of a kicker and hates any type of blanket and kicks and cries until its off of her =( i tried putting her in wearable blanket and its worse! she HATES it.. i dont know whats wrong with her.. she is only 40 days old and she have never liked being swaddled either.. i dont know what i should do.. any ideas? how do you keep your baby warm??
I put mine in footed pajamas. She also hates anything resembling a blanket over her legs, but doesn't mind the footed sleepers. So we just put her in a sleeper and make sure the house is warm enough for her!
What do you keep your newborn in at night?
Is a sleeper itself sufficient or should he be swaddled or in a wearable blanket?
I'm so paranoid about SIDS so I don't want him to suffocate or overheat! He's also a premie so the wearable blankets are excessively big on him.
do not worry too much about SIDS, not enough is known about it to know the real causes. I never swaddled my daughter she just had thin blanket over her and when she was a few weeks old we got a grobag which was wonderful, less restricting than swaddling, my duaghter likes to move about when she sleeps. Whatever you see is best for your baby as a mother....is best for your baby!
