How much is my non-plush 1982 E.T. doll worth?
I only see the PLUSH E.T. doll on ebay for about 410, but the one I have is non-plush and looks alot more like the character. Same brand and year though. (1982 Showtime by Kamar)

My 2 1/2 year old daughter lost her stuffed plush toy today. what to do???
She has been attached to this thing for one and a half years. she would sleep with it, we'd take in on all trips, basically it was her constant companion. I tried to explain it to her the best I could that he will no longer be here with her and that we might find it later. and she seemed OK with it 'till bedtime. She went to sleep OK but has already woken up twice in tears and is inconsolable. Please, please tell me if there is anything I can do to help her and if and when will she get over it. It was so sad to see her have a tantrum. I was crying right along with her. Please someone help.
Whatever you do, don't lie to her and replace it with a toy that looks just like it. Let her mourn the loss of her toy; her grief is natural. You could offer to buy her another stuffed animal; bring her to the store and let her pick out her own special stuffed animal.
